Trail Braking
What is it? Why do you do it?
Normally braking is completed before the car enters a corner. When trail braking, you continue to brake as you turn into the corner.
The main reason for doing this on track is to assist turn in by keeping the weight over the front tyres. It can cause loss of grip as the tyre's adhesion is split between braking and cornering forces.
