Left Foot Braking
What is it? Why do you do it?
Left foot braking (unsurprisingly) involves operating the brake with the left foot, leaving the right foot free to operate the throttle.
Some of the reasons for doing this are ...
- To reduce the amount of time spent moving the right foot between throttle and brake .
- To reduce understeer
when cornering under acceleration. Particularly effective for front wheel drive vehicles.
